TROY, N.Y. – The Liberty League has announced its weekly award winners in men’s and women’s basketball and Rensselaer student-athletes Ricky Philatre, Tim Rupp, Hillary McKinley & Laura Easterling have been tabbed for the week ending March 7. Philatre and Rupp were named Forward and Guard of the Week, respectively on the men’s side, while McKinley and Easterling earned the same honors on the women’s side.

AMHERST, Mass. - The Rensselaer women's basketball team saw its season come to an end with a 74-63 loss to Southern Maine in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.  The Engineers, who were making their second appearance in the event, finish with a 17-11 record.  Southern Maine improves to 21-8 and advances to take on the winner of the game between the host, Amherst, and MCLA.

TROY, N.Y. – The 2009-10 Liberty League Winter All-Academic Team has been announced and 59 Rensselaer student-athletes were selected. Honored student-athletes must have at least sophomore athletic and academic standing with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.20.

TROY, N.Y. – The Liberty League has announced its weekly award winners in women’s basketball and Rensselaer student-athletes Nicole Monroe and Whitney Coleman and Ben LeRose recognized. Monroe and Coleman were named the Forward and Guard of the Week, respectively, in women’s hoops, while LeRose grabbed his sixth top rookie honor in men’s swimming & diving.
