Men's Soccer Finishes in the Top-25 in both National Polls

TROY, N.Y. – The final men's soccer national rankings for 2009 have been released and Rensselaer finished in the top 25 in both major polls. Paced by senior Lincoln Field, an NSCAA All-American, and All-East Region Coach of the Year, Adam Clinton, the Engineers were ranked 19th by D3Soccer.com and 21st by the NSCAA.

Adam Clinton Named Regional Coach of the Year in Men's Soccer

TROY, N.Y. – The 2009 NSCAA/Mondo Senior College Men’s Regional Coach of the Year honors have been announced and Rensselaer head coach Adam Clinton was recognized as the All-East Regional Coach of the Year after leading his squad to a 14-3-2 record and first-place in the Liberty League standings with a 5-1-1 mark. He is now eligible for National Coach of the Year honors.

Lincoln Field Named to All-America Third Team in Men's Soccer

TROY, N.Y. – The 2009 NSCAA/Performance Subaru Men’s NCAA Division III All-America Teams were announced and Rensselaer student-athlete Lincoln Field has been selected to the Third Team. It is the first All-America recognition of his career for the senior captain and midfielder, who led the Engineers in scoring this season with seven goals and four assists for 18 points.

Three Earn Men's Soccer All-Region Honors

TROY, N.Y. – The 2009 NSCAA Division III All-East Region Men’s Soccer Teams have been announced and Rensselaer student-athletes Lincoln Field, Jabel Prom and Brad Shelofsky have been selected. Field was named to the First Team, while Prom and Shelofsky garnered Third Team recognition.
