Wright on the Ballot for the 2010 Frozen Four Skills Challenge
Senior left winger and captain among 75 student-athletes in consideration

TROY, N.Y. - The fan voting for the 2010 Frozen Four Skills Challenge has begun and Rensselaer women’s hockey player Allison Wright (Oakville, ON/Oakville Ice) is one of 75 names listed on this year’s ballot. A senior left winger and captain, Wright is tied for the team lead in points (19) and is second in goals (8) and assists (11).

The Frozen Four Skills Challenge will be held April 9 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan and will highlight the "Friday Night at the Frozen Four". The night will also include the presentation of the Hobey Baker Memorial Award, the Hockey Humanitarian Award and the announcement of the American Hockey Coaches Association All-American teams.

Voting for the NCAA Frozen Four Skills Challenge began on Monday, February 1, and runs until Noon on Monday, February 15. Fans are asked to cast their vote for the six best position players and two goalies for each gender of the East team and each gender of the West team. Fans will only be able to submit a vote once.

The selection committee will take all voting into consideration prior to making its announcement of the final rosters by the end of February.
