Maria Coomaraswamy-Falkenstein

Maria Coomaraswamy-Falkenstein began coaching at Rensselaer in 2003, having joined the staff after nine years at cross-town rival Union College.

In addition to coaching at the college level, she also runs her own club, Flip and Rip, coaching several area high school divers as well as masters and seniors.

Maria has had several conference champions over the past few years as well as high school All Americans, college All Americans, and a National Champion. She was awarded Diving Coach of the year for NYSWCAA for both 2002 and 2003.

Maria graduated from the University of Maine, where she dove for four years and was a National All-American.
