TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team swept the three doubles matches and won four of six singles matches to defeat Hartwick, 7-2. The Engineers are now 3-1 overall. Hartwick falls to 2-3.
Among the top performers for RPI were freshmen
Sam Tehven (Sugar Land, TX/Stephen F. Austin) and
Joe Shawky (Albany, NY/Guilderland), who improved to 4-0 on the season with their victory in first doubles.
