The Engineers (7-8-4; 4-2-2 ECACH) return to the ice on January 8 & 9, when they welcome North Country-rivals St. Lawrence and Clarkson, respectively, to the Houston Field House. MEN’S HOCKEY
RPI went 1-1-0 last week, falling to Union, 5-4, before defeating Boston University, 5-3, at Agganis Arena. Senior Christian Jensen (Watchung, NJ) had the game-winning goal against the defending national champion Terriers.
The Engineers head into the holiday break with a record of 9-9-1, including a 3-4-0 ECAC Hockey mark. RPI returns to action on December 29 against Michigan in the 45th Annual Great Lakes Invitational at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit (7:30pm). The Engineers face either Michigan Tech or Michigan State the following day in the consolation/championship game (4pm/7:30pm).

The Engineers are back in the pool on January 15th against Union with a 6pm dual meet at Robison Pool.

Rensselaer went 2-1 last week, falling to Williams (78-59) before defeating Utica (69-54) and Paul Smith’s (67-4). Graduate student Whitney Coleman (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) led the way, averaging team-bests of 12.3 points and 9.7 rebounds with 12 assists and eight steals. The Engineers (3-5) are idle until January 2 when they face Husson in the first round of the Wheaton College Holiday Tournament (3pm). RPI faces either Wheaton or Elms the following day.
