Shannon Ramelot stopped 25 shots to help the Rensselaer women's hockey team to a 2-2 tie against Syracuse on Saturday afternoon. With the draw, the Engineers are now 5-7-5, while the Orange move to 6-6-2 on the season. The draw for RPI is one shy of the program's all-time mark (6), which was set last season.

Rensselaer is back on the ice next weekend in a home-and-home series against area- and league-rival Union. The Engineers visit Schenectady on Friday (7pm) and host the Dutchwomen on Saturday at the Houston Field House (4pm).
