TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) athletic department and the Houston Field House have announced the sale dates for tickets for the men's hockey team's upcoming ECAC Hockey first round playoff series. The best-of three series against Brown University is set for this weekend, March 5, 6 & 7, at the Houston Field House. All three games, if necessary, will begin at 7pm.

Rensselaer season ticket holders can purchase their tickets on Monday and Tuesday, while non-season ticket holders can purchase seats beginning March 3.  The box office will be open from 9am to 5pm next Monday through Thursday and from 9am through the game next Friday.

Ticket prices are $6.00 for RPI students with a valid ID, $8.00 for children and students and $12.00 for adults.  Tickets can be purchased using cash, check or credit card (Visa or Mastercard).  For additional information, please call the box office at (518) 276-6262.

The Engineers (17-15-4 overall; 10-9-3 ECAC Hockey) are the sixth seed, while the Bears (8-17-4 overall; 6-12-4 ECAC Hockey) are the 11th seed.  The two teams split the regular season series with both schools winning at home.

The winner of next weekend's first round series advances to the best-of-three quarterfinals at an opponent to be determined. The ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals will be held March 12-14.
