Rensselaer was third with Colgate University and Princeton University coming in fourth with 12 selections apiece. St. Lawrence University and Union College each had 11 selections, followed by Quinnipiac University (9), Clarkson University (7), Cornell University (6) and Brown University (3).

The Rensselaer men's hockey team, which produced 17 selections, and the women's team combined to produce 32 honorees, falling just one short of Dartmouth, which had a combined 33 student-athletes named All-Academics.

Student-athletes are eligible for the All-Academic Team if they have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have an average GPA of 3.00 over the past three semesters.

RPI, which defeated Quinnipiac in a best-of-three quarterfinal series, advanced to its second straight appearance in the semifinals before falling to eventual conference champion and NCAA Runner-up, Cornell.
