TROY, N.Y. - Four Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's cross country student-athletes have earned All-Region, based on their performances at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship on Saturday.

Bobby Parker,
Sean Quinn and
Benjamin Fazio are all honorees after finishing in the top 35 of the 272-runner field at Letchworth State Park.
Andrews (New Woodstock, NY / Fabius-Pompey), a junior, was first on the team and 22nd overall with a time of 25:38.1 over the 8k course. Parker (Johnston, RI / St. Raphael Academy), a sophomore, was right behind his teammate, finishing 23rd overall (25:38.7), with Quinn (Brookline, NH / Hollis Brookline), a senior captain, two spots back. He was 25th with a time of 25:41.8. Fazio (East Greenwich, RI / East Greenwich), a freshman, was fourth on the team and 28th overall with a time of 25:47.3.
As a team, the Engineers were fifth in the 39-team field. SUNY Cortland placed three runners in the top five on its way to a winning score of 37 points, to out-distance runner-up NYU (62), Geneseo (103), St. Lawrence (118) and RPI (148).
