TROY, N.Y. - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) head women's ice hockey coach John Burke has announced the addition four student-athletes to the 2014-2015 roster.  Joining this year's team will be three forwards and a defenseman. All four players are from the United States.
 
"We look forward to having these outstanding women join our program. They come from great families and are exceptional student-athletes," said Burke. "I want to thank Derek Alfama and Melanie Greene for doing an outstanding job putting together this year's class. We expect them to have an immediate impact to our program and community. I know all four of them can't wait to wear the Cherry & White this fall."

Rensselaer posted a 10-20-3 overall record in 2013-14 with a 6-14-2 ECAC Hockey mark. The Engineers will return eight of their top 10 scorers from last year, as ten forwards, six defensemen and all three goaltenders are expected back in the fall.
