The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) department of athletics mourns the loss of Athletics Hall of Fame member Gordie Peterkin '55. The former men's hockey standout, who scored the game-winning goal in overtime of the 1954 NCAA Championship Game, passed away on September 21 at the age of 83.
