2015-16 Season Ticket InformationTROY, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's hockey team has placed 18 student-athletes on the 2014-15 ECAC Hockey All-Academic team, the league has announced. Among Rensselaer's honorees was junior forward
Mark Miller (Massena, NY / Omaha Lancers), who was selected to the Commissioner's List, which is made up of the top scholars from each institution.
Miller is among five engineering majors from RPI, while the other 13 student-athletes are business and management majors. Seniors
Curtis Leonard (Napanee, ON / Wellington Dukes),
Mark McGowan (Toronto, ON / Oakville Blades) and
Matt Neal (Minesing, ON / Stoufville Spirit) were all recognized for the fourth time in their careers, while eight others were also multiple-year recipients. Leonard was the captain, while McGowan, Neal and classmate
Luke Curadi (Cheshire, CT / Dubuque Fighting Saints) were assistant captains.
Players are eligible for the All-Academic team if they earn a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have a GPA over 3.00 over the past three semesters.
