LEXINGTON, KY - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) golf team finished the 36 hole-Transylvania Fall Invitational, shooting a combined 910 for an 11th place finish. The Engineers ended the weekend 46 strokes behind the host Pioneers.

Senior Craig Bokenfohr (Spruce Grove, AB/St. Thomas Aquinas) led the way for RPI, shooting a +3 219, which was good for 14th. Classmate and fellow captain Jamie Jackson (Belfast, ME/Belfest Area) wound up in a tie for 33rd with a +9 (225).

Levi Gorgan of Greensboro won the event with a seven-under 209, while Mount St. Joseph's Eric Hensler and Transylvania's Blake Young were two strokes back. 

The Engineers are back on the course next weekend, when they trave lto Rochester, N.Y. for the Flower City Preview.
