TROY, N.Y. – The 2009-10 Liberty League Winter All-Academic Team has been announced and 59 Rensselaer student-athletes were selected. Honored student-athletes must have at least sophomore athletic and academic standing with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.20.

TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer men’s basketball team has earned a bid to the 2010 ECAC Upstate Tournament, which will take place this weekend at SUNY-Brockport. The Engineers, who are the fourth-seed, will take on top-seeded Ithaca on Saturday at 7pm. Second-seed Brockport will take on third-seed Hobart College on Friday afternoon at 4pm.

Women's Teams / Men's Teams

TROY, N.Y. – The Liberty League has announced its year-end awards in women’s and men’s basketball and three Rensselaer student-athletes have been honored. Whitney Coleman was named the conference’s Player of the Year and was a unanimous selection to the All-League First Team, while Allison Connor was named Honorable Mention. On the men’s side, Ricky Philatre garnered All-League Second Team.

Women's Tournament Information

TROY, N.Y. – The Liberty League has announced its weekly award winners in men’s and women’s basketball and Rensselaer student-athletes Tim Rupp and Whitney Coleman have been chosen as the Guards of the Week on either side. Additionally, the Engineers women’s team is gearing up for its second straight appearance in the Liberty League Tournament, which begins on Friday in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
