TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Athletics Department has numerous methods for fans to follow the Engineers, including score updates through text messages, the reception of stories via RSS feeds, using Twitter, Facebook and YouTube and a mobile version of the athletic department’s site. There are also live statistics, live video and radio broadcasts for many of RPI's athletic contests available on the Internet.

TROY, N.Y. – The 2010 ESPN The Magazine National Academic All-America College Division Men’s Track & Field/Cross Country Teams have been announced and Rensselaer student-athlete Garrett Harms has been named to the Second Team. This is the second straight career honor for Harms, who becomes the fifth RPI student-athlete to garner Academic All-America honors this season.

TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Athletics Hall of Fame Selection Committee has chosen six individuals for induction into Rensselaer’s Athletics Hall of Fame. The Class of 2010 is made up of Cindy Acropolis ‘00 (ice hockey), Katie Coleman ’03 (field hockey), Benjamin Fell ’03 (swimming), Allison Geer ’03 (swimming), Warren Lutes (coach/administrator) and Bill Monette ’01 (track & field).
