TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer women’s tennis team received solid performances from a number of players in defeating Union College, 6-3, this afternoon at Sharp Courts. With the win, the Engineers improve to 5-6 overall, while the Dutchwomen fall to 3-9.

Women's Tennis Volleys Past SUNY Cobleskill, 9-0

TROY, N.Y. – Led by victories in all six singles and a sweep of doubles, the Rensselaer women’s tennis team defeated SUNY Cobleskill, 9-0, on Wednesday at Sharp Courts. With the victory, the Engineers improved to 4-6, while the Fighting Tigers move to 4-4 on the season. Junior Jessica Sitzer led the way, picking up victories at first singles and first doubles.

Liberty League Taps Student-Athletes From Tennis & Lacrosse

TROY, N.Y. – The Liberty League has announced its weekly award winners in women’s tennis and women’s lacrosse and two Rensselaer student-athletes have been selected. Jessica Sitzer was named the Performer of the Week in women’s tennis, while Alissa Peterson earned Rookie of the Week in women’s lacrosse.

TROY, N.Y. – The Mount Holyoke women’s tennis team won four of six singles matches and defeated Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), 5-4, at Sharp Courts. With the win the Lyons improve to 3-4 this spring, while the Engineers fall to 3-6 overall. RPI senior Christine Roe (Phoenix, AZ/North) won at first singles, and junior Jessica Sitzer (Rockaway, NJ/Morris Hills ) came back to win at second singles
