PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Rensselaer women’s tennis team claimed victory in two of three doubles matches and won four singles flights on their way to a 5-2 victory over Plattsburgh State on Thursday. Due to darkening conditions, the final two matches of the evening were called. The Engineers are now 2-1 overall, while the Cardinals drop to 3-6 on the season.
RPI was led by a 2-0 performance from senior
Jessica Sitzer (Rockaway, NJ/Morris Hills), who claimed victory at first doubles with partner
Christine Roe (Phoenix, AZ/North), and won at second singles.
