TROY, N.Y. - The Liberty League has announced its year-end outdoor track & field award winners and three from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), including two student-athletes, have been selected. Senior Kristiina Baker and rookie Lindsey Dubas were named the Women's Track Performer and Rookie of the Year, respectively, while head coach Colin Tory and his staff were honored as the Women's and Men's Coaching Staff of the Year.

Baker, a native of Bolton, Mass., was a four-time champion at the Liberty League Championships, claiming titles in the 100 and 200-dash along with the 4x100 and 4x400 relays. She had a number of solid finishes throughout the season, including at the NYSCTC Championships, where she helped the 4x400 relay team to victory.

The Nashoba Regional High School graduate competed in four events at the State Meet and was also a participant in three events at the ECAC Championships. In addition to being named All-League for her performance at the Liberty League Meet, she was a conference Track Performer of the Week honoree once. 

A freshman from Windsor, N.Y., Dubas had an outstanding rookie campaign, competing in no fewer than two events in each of the seven meets she was entered. The Liberty League champion in the high jump, she was a four-time conference Rookie of the Week selection. 

The former Windsor Central High School standout competed in four events at the Liberty League and NYSCTC Championships. In addition to finishing second in the high jump at the New York State Meet, Dubas also competed in two events at ECACs. She was also a three-time winner in the high jump during the season.

Tory and his staff were recognized after leading the Engineers men's and women's squads to the Liberty League Championship titles. The men were the highest finishing conference team at the NYSCTC and ECAC Championships, posting second and third, respectively. 

Individually, one student-athlete competed at the NCAA Championships (hammer throw) during the outdoor season. Academically, a Liberty League-best 21 men and 20 women were named to the conference's All-Academic squad. Tory was assisted by Louise Duffus, Camille Ross, Jen Adams, Don Paretta, John Hudson and Warren Lutes.
