CASTLETON, Vt. - The Rensselaer men's tennis team won all six singles matches as well as three doubles matches on its way to sweeping Castleton State, 9-0. With the win, the Engineers improve to 1-3 on the season, while the Spartans are 0-1.

Jarret Regier (East Amherst, NY/Clarence) was victorious at both the #1 singles (6-0, 6-2) and #1 doubles, teaming with
Patrick Russo (East Northport, NY/Northport) to post an 8-2 win.
Freshman
Andre Vorbrodt (Allendale, NJ/Northlands Highlands Regional) put forth a strong effort at second singles, winning 6-2, 6-0, before joining junior
Kyle Borton (Bolton, CT / Bolton) at #2 doubles. They won that match, 8-2.
RPI returns to the courts on March 14, when it plays its first of four matches in Hilton Head, S.C., while on Spring Break. Castleton State hosts Norwich on Wednesday at 4pm.
