In reflecting back on Rensselaer's recently completed athletic season, it quickly becomes obvious that there were – yet again – many memorable individual and team accomplishments, as well as other significant events that occurred. In an effort to relive, remember and celebrate some of our student-athletes and staff members who played major roles in making those occasions a reality, we introduce 11 4 2010-11.

Rensselaer Squads Engineer Memorable Finishes
There was certainly no shortage of dramatic moments during the 2010-11 season. From game-winning kicks on the gridiron to walk-off hits on the diamond, the Engineers certainly kept the drama at high level across the board. Now we take a look back at some of the greatest finishes of last season.

Football Upends #21 Alfred on Late Nilson Field Goal, 27-24
Senior Peter Nilson kicked a 37-yard field goal with six seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to give the Rensselaer a 27-24 victory over #21 Alfred in a non-league game on October 16, 2010. (Full Story)
Men's Lacrosse Advances to League Final With 2OT Win at Skidmore
Sophomore Wes Rudy scored a man-up goal with 2:12 to play in the second overtime to lead Rensselaer to a 13-12 Liberty League semifinal win over Skidmore on May 6, 2011. (Full Story)
Field Hockey Beats #19 William Smith in 2-1 Penalty Stroke Win
After battling through two overtimes, graduate student Alex Lamparski netted the game-winning penalty stroke to give Rensselaer a 2-1 win over #19 William Smith in Liberty League action on October 23, 2010. (Full Story)
Falco's Walk-Off Hit Gives Softball Twinbill Sweep of Oneonta
Senior third baseman Genevieve Falco delivered a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth to drive home the winning run in game two and complete a doubleheader sweep for Rensselaer over SUNY Oneonta on April 26, 2011. RPI won game one by a 3-2 margin and were victorious in game two, 5-4, in extra innings. (Full Story)
Bailen Leads #18 Men's Hockey Past #12 Union, 4-3, in Overtime
Sophomore Nick Bailen recorded a goal and two assists, including the game-winning tally midway through overtime, to lift 18th-ranked Rensselaer to a come-from-behind, 4-3, victory over 12th-ranked Union, on Black Saturday at the Houston Field House on November 13, 2010.
